Okay, Now We Have Plans!

Greetings and thanks for your patience!

This blog, like this website, is a work in progress. It's gonna get tweaked as this place evolves. Your feedback is more than welcome ... what would YOU like to see here?

Current plans call for a store so you can purchase my works directly and have them personally autographed by me (if not for yourself, then to someone else as a gift). I'd also like to put up some of my YouTube work.

I'll occasionally feature some blogs from my other locations, such as my Patreon page. By the way, if you'd like to show your ongoing support in a tangible way, Patreon allows you to do that on a painless monthly basis. In exchange, I'll send you new works as they are released in both .pdf and paperback forms, depending on your level of support. By the way, the largest level is twenty dollars a month and every dollar I receive will go towards getting the word out about my writing as well as making my product look better. With any luck, and a sudden re-devotion to proper time management, I'll resume writing a weekday blog, although some entries might come from my former blog attempts. I say former attempts because I kinda lost interest in my first blog, the original Freelance Words. Then I ran a second one as Brian K Morris - Author for four months.

However, concerning the second blog, I realized I somehow created a second Google + log in (I think I'm up to about half a dozen of them by now ... don't ask me how). So in an attempt to simplify my existence, I deleted what I believed was the newer account ... but I was wrong ... so wrong. The end result was that I deleted the access to that particular blog so I could no longer add to it or edit past entries. Some days, it's a wonder I can navigate my legs into my trousers. Anyway, I will work up some posts with the goal to go daily -- or as close as I'm able. I will include my personal appearances (and I've got some exciting venues coming up in Indiana (Indianapolis, Petersberg, Lafayette), Illinois (Chicago, Carbondale, Mattoon, Urbana, Robinson, and Metropolis) and Missouri (Cape Girardeau, St. Louis). I also plan to resume my step-by-step essays on how to write a novel. Tune in Wednesday for the glorious results. If you'd like to have me as a guest for your convention, library, comic shop, or book store, contact me at briankevinmorris@yahoo.com and let's talk business. If it's a one-day appearance, I rarely charge for mileage or lodging, unless the distance from Lafayette, Indiana warrants an overnight stay. I mostly need a flat, unmoving surface to display my wares and autograph books. And unless I'm asked to sign my body weight in books, I'll gladly give you my autograph for free. To NOT accept my signature on my work will be an extra twenty dollars. I've had someone take me up on that ... don't be Number Two. Anyway, I mentioned my Patreon page. I'm also on Twitter, Instagram, Google +, and I have pages on Facebook for Freelance Words, Vulcana, ACE Comics. Of course, I'm also here. I hope to see you here later. Take care and be good.
