Why I Suck at a Weekday Blog

A couple of years ago, I set out to really challenge myself as a blogger. Sure, I'd tried it before and managed to do three days a week of new content. I laid it out according to all the "experts" and even added graphics. I had it going on, don't you know?
Then I got really stupid and kicked up my output. I went from three days a week to five, Monday through Friday. I spent at least one day a week offering my tips on writing, just as I do every Wednesday here. The rest of it was whatever happened to lodge in my brainpan that morning. It cut into my writing time, but it was also helping build my audience.
So of course, I screwed it up.
I found I had two gmail accounts and I decided to eliminate one. I selected the wrong one, naturally, and thus I couldn't access my blog. So it died after four months and over one hundred entries. Le sigh ...
Now I'm employed by Silver Phoenix Entertainment (and my first real publication with them, The Haunting Tales of Bachelor's Grove, is going to see print next week) and working my butt off with some freelancing as well as the usual working for my own imprints. In addition, I'm adding new show dates all the darn time so my print output is strong, my blogging not so much.
However, I do have a vlog at Facebook. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I work the heck out of what I call my "livecast," Nevermind the Furthermore. It happens (usually) every Monday and Thursday at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time.
I sit in front of the laptop and blather on and on while people comment and I make commentary on their statements and questions. It's a two-way conversation and I'm digging it. My contributors seem to like it also. I hope you'll join me sometime (and say hello because FB doesn't always alert me that you're going to be there, darn them to Heck).
So if you want more of me, there's plenty to go around.
Be sure to SUBSCRIBE to this blog. We're going to put out something every WEDNESDAY morning or you'll know the reason why. We plan to beef up our output to five times a week eventually. Don't forget that you can support me via Patreon as well as purchase my works on Amazon. I'm also on Twitter and Instagram. And don't forget Silver Phoenix Entertainment. Don't forget my Facebook pages for Freelance Words, Rising Tide Publications, and Vulcana.
Take care and be good!
